Salt Bay Sunrise captured me from the first page when her renter shouted, “Willow!” to the very last page. I found this book to be an adventure filled with a mix of romance, friendship, loyalty, and nature. We are taken on EcoTours and learn about the shorelines and depths of Florida waters, the dolphins and manatees, dogs and cats and the topping on that cake is the description of the birds that fly among us and light up our hearts every day. In the midst of all of the above, we have a mystery to solve and an introduction to criminals on a search. I did not want to put it down and looked forward to the next page all the way through.

Christmas Cake Day: Love it. Just finished the book by Juliet. It was very good, well written and interesting. The romance between the couple was very good. And best of all, was the food the family ate at Christmas. Now, I want to cook and decorate for Christmas. My only request is that the author should have given us a recipe at the end for one of the wonderful cakes that were made

Second Chance Rescue “Love comes in all shapes and flavours. It can start as a mist of hit you all at once like a summer storm.”
Brice is the rarest breed of man – one who is ready to settle down and determined to find the right woman to be his wife. In Sami, he meets a woman with baggage – fresh out of a divorce and with the nasty ex-husband still hanging around, like a bad smell. As complicated as their romance is, it is raw and passionate and sweet. Add to that the dog rescue work and this story will melt the hearts of anyone who loves animals, believes in love, and is an old-fashioned romantic at heart. An ideal tonic to the challenging times we live in – like slipping into a hot bath at the end of a long day :-)

Second Chance Rescue: The two main characters, Brice and Sami, have each experienced the bitter pain of dashed hopes. Brice has lost his farm and livelihood, while Sami’s marriage has ended in a nasty divorce and an ex who won’t let go.

This is the scenario for Juliet Brilee’s latest romance. I thought the author did an excellent job bringing the animal shelter to life – as well as Brice’s passion for the land and farming.

I won’t spoil the story of course, except to say that I felt the characters were well drawn and the plot was quite believable. This book should appeal to anyone who enjoys reading romance and heart warming human drama.
